Lynn Iredale (Practice Manager at Glenridding Health Centre) recently submitted an application to CHoC Social Enterprise Committee in support of the local Firefighters’ Charity who have helped and supported her after a life changing accident on Sunday 3rd May 2020. The application to the Social Enterprise Fund through CHoC was successful and a well-deserved donation of £500 has been awarded to The Firefighters’ Charity.

The organisation is based at Jubilee House, Eamont Bridge, Penrith and were fantastic in supporting Lynn through her recovery following the horrific incident after which she required rehabilitation, physiotherapy and general recovery support.

“I will be eternally grateful to the Fire Fighters Charity and CHoC for their support.”

– Lynn, Glenridding Practice Manager at Glenridding Health Centre

The Firefighters’ Charity have helped Lynn make fantastic steps towards her recovery and provide similar support to many others from all over the county. Due to their help and Lynn’s determination she is still the life of any party!
