The Upper Eden Medical Practice is a rural dispensing practice with a list size of 6700 patients and we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional quality of care. We’re a forward thinking, patient centred practice, with dedicated GP’s, a paramedic practitioner, nurse practitioner, practice nurses and HCA’s, who are all capably supported by an excellent administrative team.
We recognise and value the importance of wellbeing and an effective work/life balance. We provide 15 minute appointments, scheduled daily mid-morning coffee breaks, dedicated admin time and actively encourage special interests. Flexible working options are also available subject to discussion.
Surrounded by spectacular scenery, the ancient market town of Kirkby Stephen at the head of the picturesque Eden Valley, is an inviting prospect for anyone who loves the outdoor life and appreciates the benefits of living in one of the most scenic locations in England. We have affordable housing, excellent schools and local amenities, plus the added benefit of being only 10 minutes from the M6 and West Coast mainline railway, so even the likes of Manchester and Newcastle are easily accessible!
