Cumbria Health on Call’s Opening Hours

We provide cover when your GP’s Practice is closed:

*     Monday to Friday 6.30 pm until 8.00 am
*     24 hours throughout the weekend
*     24 hour cover on Bank Holidays including Easter, Christmas and New Year.

When you contact Cumbria Health on Call your call will be logged by an experienced call handler and your details will be passed on to a doctor or nurse who will call you back.  The doctor or nurse will ask about your symptoms and give you medical advice or arrange for you to see a doctor.

You may be asked to attend one of our treatment centres or a doctor will arrange to visit you at home.  For less serious problems advice will be given over the phone and you may be advised to see your own GP next time the surgery is open.

All calls to and from Cumbria Health on Call are recorded to ensure the quality of service provided is as expected and to be able to deal with any enquiries raised.
