Controller/Call Handlers

Rates of pay for Controllers/Call handlers as at April 2010

Weekday day rate £8.47 per hour

Weekend day rate £10.25

Response Drivers

From time to time we have vacancies for Response Drivers.  These positions are part time and hours vary from site to site.  If you are an experienced driver with a clean driving licence and are prepared to work evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays including the festive season.

Telephone Triage Nurse

Basic hourly rate £15.10
Out of Hours rate £20.09 per hour

Hours - weekends, bank holidays, evenings

Choc is the Cumbria provider of unscheduled care.  We are looking to recruit an additional Registered Nurse (job share considered) to work as part of our nurse led telephone triage service.

We require a flexible and motivated RGN with a minimum of 5 years post registration experience.

Nurse Practitioner

The post holder will work as a member of the out of hour’s nursing team in the Primary Care Treatment Centres. In the Senior Primary Care Nurse role, the post holder will be responsible for recognising negotiating and implementing change processes to enhance the delivery of care.

 

Patient centred care will be delivered by assessing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, initiate treatment, investigations, advice and management of problems using professional autonomous decision making processes, liaising when appropriate with other healthcare professionals and service providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.

 

The post holder will contribute to development and delivery of a high quality innovative service to the community through the implementation of evidence based clinical practice, supported by continual professional development, and provide support and mentorship to new staff, students and other healthcare professionals.

Receptionist

Receptionists work in each our bases at the hospitals booking appointments for patients and meet ing and greeting them when they arrive. 

The rates of pay are £8.16 for week days; £9.21 for weekends and £17.92 on a bank holiday.
